Brantford is a city with heart. But families are feeling the pressure. Housing is getting harder to afford. Young people are struggling to see a future here. Opportunities are not keeping pace with the needs of the next generation.

I believe we need practical leadership, stronger community connection, and a councillor who listens, shows up, and works hard for Ward 3. I’m not running to talk at people. I’m running to serve them.

As a husband, father of seven, business owner, volunteer, and long-time Ward 3 resident, I understand the pressures families are facing. My wife and I had four children of our own and later adopted a sibling group of three. That journey shaped the way I see the world. It taught me that strong families need strong communities — and strong communities are built when people step up and serve.

Key Priorities

Housing that Makes Sense

When many of us bought our homes, the gap between income and house prices felt manageable. For our kids, it feels nearly impossible. We need to look seriously at what can be done at the municipal level to support smart growth, responsible development, and housing options that give the next generation a real shot at staying in Brantford.

Opportunity for Young People

Brantford has strong roots in manufacturing and local business, but too many young people still feel they need to leave town to find the future they want. I want to support a city that creates better local opportunities, attracts investment, and prepares young people for meaningful work.

A City that Serves People Well

Homelessness, food insecurity, and community support are complex challenges. Some of those issues are provincial — but that does not mean the city should stand back. We need to ask a better question: are we doing everything we can at the municipal level? I don’t believe we are yet. And I believe Brantford can do better.

Community Commitment

Over the years I have volunteered with the food bank, helped support people in need downtown with clothing and jackets, been involved in community sports programs, run gym nights for young kids, and stayed active in events that bring people together. I was honoured to be named Volunteer of the Year by the Brantford Sports Council — but the real reward has always been the people and the community itself.
